Geolocation

Tapping Use my location triggers a browser Geolocation prompt. If you allow it, the browser reports your approximate latitude and longitude to the tool in the browser to centre the map. This site does not transmit those coordinates to any server we operate, and does not store them beyond the current page view. Reload the page and the location is gone.

If you deny or dismiss the prompt, the tool still works — you just drag the map or paste coordinates in the URL.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses basic first-party analytics to understand which pages are read and how the tool is used. In regions covered by GDPR / ePR consent requirements, analytics and any advertising cookies fire only after affirmative consent, per Google's Consent Mode v2.

You can review and change consent at any time from the consent control provided by our CMP (visible when consent applies to you).

Advertising

This site is ad-supported. Ads are served by Raptive (and its downstream ad exchanges), which may set cookies for frequency capping, measurement, and — where you have consented — personalisation. Reserved ad slots on the page hold fixed dimensions whether or not an ad has loaded, so layout does not shift.

Your rights

Under GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and comparable laws, you have rights to access, correct, and delete personal data we hold about you, and to opt out of targeted advertising. Because this site collects no account data and does not receive your geolocation server-side, the practical scope of these rights is narrow — but for any concern please contact us via /contact.
